Description
saundersiae - large 20+ cm bulbs produce long-lasting creamy, softball sized florets with greenish/black superior ovaries in the center of each flower; superb long-lasting cut flower; 3'-4'; 4 per sq. ft.; whz 7-10.

Dense clusters of starry flowers appear on top of 12"-24" spikes, making it a valuable cut flower. It's also a valuable garden plant because its blossoms are so long lasting in the mid-late summer garden. Native to Europe, Asia and Africa, they are also smashing in patio planters with other summer flowering bulbs and annuals.
