Description
Jalapa - blossoms from white to yellow, orange, pink or red; the old fashioned look.

This Heirloom, tuberous perennial quickly develops into a bushy plant that is covered with fragrant, trumpet-like blossoms; carrot-shaped top sized tubers; 1 per sq. ft.; whz 7b-10; blooms mid summer to frost; (Note:  usually blooms from 8pm until 10am for us and is visited by many hummingbird moths!)

Our pollinators are so important to the sustainability of our gardens and food crops for insect and birds and if each of us participates in healthy gardening practices and chooses some of the pollinator attracting plants, we can collectively make a HUGE difference.
